Welcome to Dot’s Place—a home for creativity, curiosity, and handmade things. I’m Dot, and I love making just about anything, from tried-and-true crafts to brand-new experiments. I’m always learning, always creating. While some of my work is available for sale on Etsy at Buttercup Bearz, this site is primarily a space to share what I make and what inspires me. Bears
I have always loved sewing and making stuffed animals. I was given an old Singer Feather Weight machine when I was around 7 years old. As a child I mostly made stuffed animals and clothing for them. In highschool I switched to making my own clothing. I finally found my way back to teddy bears. My bears are handmade and hand sewn from patterns I design myself.
